Thank you..

Thank you everyone for your prayers. I know I haven't been in Paragon City as of late and missed out on that SF, but I would like to give special thanks Vitandy Hartwel and Mott.

Updates: My friend David came down to the funeral, I upheld my fathers last wish. To have a Heineken on him. Problem is that they do not allow Alchohol in the funeral home, so my friends that hanged out with my dad, my brother and my dad's friends were treated out at a local restaraunt.

Since I am on berevment leave, work decides to use both barrels and break the stock over my head for good measure. I am currently sitting at work trying to ressurect a dead Win2k server with valuable info on it. Everyone at that worksite has been saying thanks for sticking this out, but I find that if I were a business owner, even for a small business, this is an unethical thing to do. I mean when the Boss lost family, I never called him back to help me on anything.

On the flip side of the coin, since I'm the most skilled tech with some invaluable resources and some pretty neat tricks up my sleeve, and the boss doesn't have the resources available to him, I guess that could be a reason.

Seriously, if it's something that I cannot handle and it was mission critical to a customer, I would have brought in help. There is no reason to be calling me right after the vigil to help get the server or get some of your options available to you.

In retrospect, I do not expect to get treated nicely. I've always rolled with the punches, I have no animosity against my boss or this company. I really do not appreciate it when everything that is truly difficult to perform, is always left in my hands because of the inexperience of others. Also I really hate pushy customers, regardless how nice they are.

1-2-06 12:15 P.M.

Some of you out there know that my father (picture: middle) has been in the hospital since the WV trip. This morning his blood pressure fell and was very unresponsive. He passed away today at the time above. R.I.P dad, always 54.
