Updates 7/24/2006
Ok, DirecTV can just eat it. Strongarming my mother into buying faulty equipment when the dish just needed a realignment. Here's a big F.U. to you and a hello to Comcast as your replacement.
Been a customer of DirecTV since 1996 and it was great back then, now everything is just terrible.
This last weekend was hot in my area, afternoon temperatures went to 107-110 degrees. Since I do not have A/C, well playing City of Heroes was like playing in a Sauna. Although I had enough bottled water to last a nuclear winter, I need to replace the consumed supplies. Costco here I come!
Not to mention all the "good" California drivers were out in force Sunday. I've always maintained that So. Cal has the craziest drivers, while we here up in the Bay Area have the stupidest drivers. A block power outtage took out a good portion of my town. As I was driving through, I see people sitting at powered off lighted intersections. Now I do not know how other states handle this, but in California, when a previously working 4 way signal light was working and now powered off due to a brownout, treat it as a four way stopsign. These people were actually waiting for the light to turn green. Not to mention that they didn't notice that the red wasn't even on either. Not to mention some people just didn't bother stopping for it either. I wonder how long did they actually wait for the light to turn green... not that any restored light automatically turns flashing red for the city department to fix.
Oh well, it's Monday and that means work. At least all my customers are educated on most things. Computers I still have to explain things in the most simple of terms to get them to understand the nature of the problem.
Oh if anyone is curious, http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g252/dloudermilk/
