Good-bye Mr. Walsh.
Former 49ers coach Bill Walsh has passed away today at 75 from leukemia. Why am I writing about this, well I'm from the Bay Area and I watched the 49ers when Bill Walsh lead the team to three of the five Superbowl victories. I was quite young and I cheered them on. I even got to see the creator of the West Coast Offense.

For those who don't know or care to know, Leukemia is a type of blood cancer that is a generalization for 4 specific types of cancers. Treatment is often possible, but as with all types of cancers, early detection will better your chances of survival.
