Slow thinkin' at fast food
Ok here's something I really need to bring to the attention of the public. It's about the idiots who work at fast food. I know there are mitigating factors about this subject matter, such as teenagers and people down on their luck and such. I really think that communications is really important, especially when it comes to how I want my junk food. I find that the standards for the big M and the burger royalty has went downhill since I was a kid. I ask for something and get something totally different.
Ok I get to a fast food eatery and ask for large drinks with light ice. I get a medium drink with a f*cking Glacier with about 1 1/2 oz of soda in it. What is their problem? Are they just doing this for kicks? I would have thought so, but they got the rest of my order right, which means that whoever took the order in the first place did not record my order correctly.
Which brings me to my point, I beleive that fast food eateries need to have stricter hiring standards when it comes to my junk food. All of them must have a degree from college, or a 2000 word essay on why communications is vital to the survival of business. There are just too much idiots working in fast food these days, that they should just go and work at a convience store with that level of intelect.

What I "love" is when I give them my order adn ell them it's to go. They repeat the order and then ask me if it is for here or to go.
It all started down hill when they invented the cash register that computed the change. When cashers were required to learn how to count back change they seemed to be smarter.
